By using this platform you acknowledge and agree to the following:
DIRECTORY ONLY.
WitnessReadyNow is a directory that facilitates introductions between those who need witnesses and those who provide witnessing services. WitnessReadyNow is not a party to any agreement, arrangement, or transaction between a witness and a requesting party.
INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS.
All witnesses listed on WitnessReadyNow are independent contractors. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of WitnessReadyNow. WitnessReadyNow does not supervise, control, direct, or guarantee the performance, qualifications, conduct, or availability of any witness.
VERIFICATION RESPONSIBILITY.
WitnessReadyNow does not independently verify witness credentials, background checks, licenses, or qualifications. You are solely responsible for verifying that any witness meets your standards before engaging them. You may request credentials, background checks, or references directly from any witness.
COMPENSATION.
Witnesses are independent professionals who set their own fees. Witness fees compensate for time and travel — not for a signature. A witness who travels to a signing location is entitled to compensation whether or not the signing transaction is completed, subject to terms agreed upon directly between the parties before travel.
SAFETY.
WitnessReadyNow is not present at any signing engagement and bears no responsibility for the safety of any party. Witnesses and requesting parties are solely responsible for their own safety and should exercise professional judgment before accepting or confirming any engagement.
LIABILITY LIMITATION.
WitnessReadyNow bears no liability for the conduct, performance, qualifications, safety, or outcome of any signing engagement or any connection made through this platform. All disputes arising from engagements are between the witness and the requesting party directly.
NO GUARANTEE.
WitnessReadyNow does not guarantee witness availability, response time, suitability, or fulfillment of any request.
AGE REQUIREMENT.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform. By registering an account, submitting a witness request, or listing yourself as a professional witness on WitnessReadyNow, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. WitnessReadyNow does not knowingly allow minors to create accounts or participate in signing engagements.
AVAILABILITY VS. BOOKING.
Confirming availability through WitnessReadyNow does not constitute a booking or guarantee of engagement. All final arrangements including selection confirmation and fee agreement are made directly between the requester and the witness.
FOUNDING MEMBERS.
Founding members are permanently exempt from platform subscription and listing fees — forever. As a founding member you will never pay to be listed as a witness or to submit witness requests on WitnessReadyNow. Optional services such as identity verification and background check integration have separate fees. Founding members receive a permanently discounted rate on all optional services. The founding member designation does not expire and cannot be revoked except in cases of fraud or material violation of these Terms.
